Guahan Advertising is the first and only source
of CPM-based internet advertising specifically focused for the
island of Guam. We have teamed up with online websites
focusing on Guam to display your advertisements throughout
these websites. We offer very competitive and affordable
advertising rates compared to other traditional advertising sources
which include radio, television, and print publications on Guam.
Your advertisements will be viewed by thousands of people
online who visit the network of Guam-related websites on
which your ads are displayed. Approximately 80%+ of
these viewers are from Guam, while the rest are people from
Guam who have moved off-island or people who are interested in
Guam for relocation, business, or travel.
Our advertising rates are CPM-based. CPM (which
stands for cost per thousand impressions) is the standard
advertising model on the Internet and is used throughout the
world as an effective way to sell advertising online.
As an example to show how the CPM Internet Advertising model works, say our CPM rate is currently $25. What this
means is that you will pay $25 for every 1,000 times your
advertisement is displayed/viewed on any website within our
network. If you have an advertising budget of $300 to
spend on internet advertising, you could effectively calculate
how many times your advertisement would be displayed on our
network of websites by using the equation below:
(Your Total Budget) / (Our CPM Rate) x (1,000) = (# of times
your ads will be displayed)
So in our example, it would be $300 / $25 x
1,000 = 12,000 impressions or views. So for the $300 spent your
ad would be viewed 12,000 times.
The number of impressions or times your
advertisement will be displayed can now be compared to other
types of traditional media advertising. For television
and radio advertisements, you can compare the number of
viewers (for television) or listeners (for radio), and for
print publications like a newspaper or magazine you can
compare the circulation numbers to our online advertising
rates.
Again, as an example, lets say an online
newspaper has a daily print circulation of 50,000. What
this means for you is if you decide to advertise in the
newspaper for one particular day your advertisement in the
newspaper has a potential of being viewed 50,000 times, maybe
more or maybe less. You can compare the rate you pay and
the print circulation numbers of the newspaper (or any other
print publication) to our CPM rate and the number of displays
your online advertisement will receive on our network of
websites and come to a conclusion as to which advertising
opportunity offers you the "most bang for your buck".
In most cases, you will almost always come to a conclusion that advertising with us is more cost effective and affordable than traditional media sources while
still getting all the same benefits of these other media
outlets.
The reason it is almost always cheaper to
advertise with us is because of the pricey overhead expenses
traditional media outlets incur to get your
advertisements in front of the eyes of your potential
customers. Print publications have a high overhead which
includes the facility where the publication is printed, ink
and paper supply expenses, employee expenses to run the
publication, design expenses to get your advertisement ready
for publication, and much more. Radio and television
media outlets also have high production expenses to get your
advertisement in front of their viewers or listeners. On
the other hand, online advertising venues such as our network
of websites have the lowest overhead costs of all the various
advertising channels. This allows Guahan Advertising to
pass on the cost-savings to our clients for the most
affordable advertising option when compared to other
advertising channels.
To get started with an advertising campaign you must provide graphical banners of certain dimensions to fit in the display areas of the websites in our network. To
see the specifications for the banners go here. If you are unable to provide the banners, our design team can
create the banners for you for a nominal fee. |
